Christmas 2012

Christmas Eve Dinner
We've been having some very yucky weather lately. It feels like we live in Utah instead of North Carolina. And the Utahns feel like they live in Alaska. Unfortunate. So with this plenty of indoor time, I am finally getting around to posting some pictures from Christmas. And it isn't February yet!

For Christmas Eve dinner we combined Andelin and Roberts traditions: we had some token Bethlehem food (pita bread and hummus and baba ganoush) as well as some jalapeno poppers, stuffed mushrooms, and lil' smokies.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

Here's a video we took for Grammy and Granddad to thank them for the cute pajamas!

 And now, Christmas morning...
Waiting to go downstairs and see the presents! We sang some Christmas carols to heighten the anticipation!

Violet's cushion full of toys

Luke's cushion
Ivy's cushion. I don't know why Santa put the crayons on hers.

This is what Ivy got for Christmas. She sort of gets it.

TMNT!

Luke's' bike

Barbies (actually a cheap knock-off brand)

This is what we had for breakfast: french toast casserole

Look at all those presents!
Santa wrote the kids a letter!
Anyway, there was our picture explosion! It was fun to have Christmas with just our little family.
