Halloween 2011

Halloween was pretty low-key this year for us. I'm quite glad we only had to dress the kids up one time. Everyone else seemed to have endless parties that just dragged the holiday out a bit too long, in my opinion. One day of costumes and candy is enough, thanks. (At least when I'm pregnant and sick...and my grumpy side is 10x worse!)

Here is Cinderella with her pet elephant :).

We went to the Lakeshore Trunk or Treat, and while Cinderella was a bit dismayed at the cold (don't let that bright sunlight fool you--it was chilly!), she soon cheered up once she saw all the candy.

Candy...the perfect lure

Luke was overjoyed that we were letting--no, helping!--him get endless candy. He cried when we carried him out of the church parking lot. We only did about half of the cars because we figured we had enough candy to last us until Christmas!

We took them home and put them to bed, and we hope that by now they have forgotten that night when we taught them to ask strangers for candy :).
